Rubina Dilaik Confirms: 'My Journey With Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki Has Come To An End, Time To Pass On The Baton'- EXCLUSIVE
This piece of news will surely disappoint all the fans of Rubina Dilaik aka Saumya of Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki. SpotboyE.com has it confirmed that the 4-year-long journey of the actress with the show is going to end soon. As we all know, the makers have planned a generation leap, and with the change, Rubina's track will end on the show.

We contacted Rubina to confirm the news and she replied, "I am not continuing post leap, I have no idea about the continuation of the character though." The actress further added, "I am passing on the baton to the new generation and from there on-wards they will continue the legacy."

Post the leap, Jigyasa Singh (who was last seen on Thapki) and actor Simba Nagpal will be seen in the lead roles.  The two have already started shooting for the show. As for Rubina, this month will be the last one for the actress.

On digging further, we also got to hear from the sources on sets that Rubina was okay playing a mother on-screen but makers had a different plan and finally they took the call of ending her track.

A few months back, when reports of Rubina exiting from the show started doing the rounds, Rubina had spoken to SpotboyE.com, quashing the buzz and had said, "Since morning I have attended almost 6-7 calls negating the fact that it's an absolute rumour. It has no truth to it. I really love my show and my character. And I am not thinking of leaving, quitting or bidding an adieu to the show because my heart and soul lies here. So, anything of that sort whatever comes up, definitely everybody would know it. But, as of now I am really enjoying what I am doing."

Before Rubina, Vivian D'sena who played Harman exited the show in August last year as he didn't want to play a father on-screen.
